Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We have reached the end of another academic year. In this last weekly communication before the summer break, I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for the amazing contribution you have made to church school education this year.

Whether you are a CEO, headteacher, governor, teacher, support staff, volunteer or pupil, I know that you have all played a very important role in providing the very best educational experience where all adult sand children are able to flourish within a Christian context. Of course, there have been challenges along the way but we have remained strong as a church school family and together we can be proud that we have successfully steered our school communities to a time in the year where I hope we can all enjoy the summer with friends and family. I’m sure we will all have learned new things throughout the year and we will be able to take this learning forward into the new academic year. For now though, find time to relax,switch off and have a wonderful holiday.

Members of the diocesan education team including myself will be taking some holiday during the next six weeks but please know that if you need any support over the summer, there will always be someone here from the DBE to help. The main office number during the summer is 01522 504010.
